How to unlock your domain at GoDaddy to transfer to Mexxus Print

In order to transfer your domain from GoDaddy, you must first unlock your domain and obtain the transfer authorization code from within your GoDaddy Account Manager.
You also need to disable private registration on the domain (if enabled).

STEP 1. UNLOCKING YOUR DOMAIN

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. Use the checkboxes to select the domain names you want to modify.
  4. Above your list of domains, click locking.
  5. To unlock the domain, remove the lock domains checkbox.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK again.

 

STEP 2. DISABLING PRIVATE REGISTRATION

  1. Login to your GoDaddy Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. Click the domain for which you want to disable private registration.
  4. Next to Privacy, click Manage.
  5. Login to DomainsByProxy account.
  6. Check the domain you wish to disable private registration on
  7. Click OK to confirm.

 

STEP 3. RETRIEVING THE AUTHORIZATION CODE
To transfer your domain to Mexxus, you'll need your authorization code. You can follow these easy steps to get your authorization code.

  1. Login to your GoDaddy Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. Click the domain for which you want to retrieve the authorization code.
  4. In the Authorization Code field, click the Send by Email link.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK again.

 

STEP 4. INITIATE TRANSFER AT MEXXUS

  1. Contact Mexxus to request the transfer process

 

STEP 5. CONFIRM YOUR TRANSFER VIA EMAIL
After the transfer request has been sent, we will send you an email to confirm your transfer within 24 hours. If you haven't received the confirmation email, please check your SPAM/JUNK mail folders.

STEP 6. That's it, please wait between 3 - 7 days for the transfer to complete. Our system will automatically notify you when the transfer has completed.
